Step 01 / Eligibility
A quick rundown of who's covered and when your benefits kick in.
Full-time Sysdig employees working 30+ hours per week are eligible for all benefits described here.
Eligible dependents
For new dependents you'll need a marriage or birth certificate, or proof of domestic partnership. Upload through Workday → Benefits within 30 days of the qualifying event.
Qualifying life events
Outside open enrollment, you need a qualifying event (marriage, baby, loss of coverage, etc.). Notify HR within 30 days.
Step 02 / Medical
Two flexible medical options with strong company contributions and 100% covered preventive care.

PPO 03559 · Flexible — see any in/out-of-network doctor.
Rx tiers: $10 generic / $35 preferred / $60 non-preferred / 25% specialty (max $250). Out-of-network: 60% coinsurance after $1,000 / $3,000 deductible, $5,000 / $10,000 OOP max.

Step 03 / Dental
Preventive care is fully covered. Major work and ortho support included.
Dental Choice Plus
Preventive: cleanings, exams, x-rays, fluoride.
Basic: fillings, extractions, root canals, periodontics.
Major: crowns, bridges, dentures, implants.

Step 04 / Vision
Just $0.89 per pay period gets you exams, lenses, frames, and contacts.

Sysdig pays for the basics. Layer on extra coverage when you need it.
Optional
Purchase additional coverage for yourself and dependents. Max employee benefit cannot exceed 5× basic annual earnings. Spouse max is 50% of employee election.
Guaranteed issue applies to new hires only.
Employee: $10K – $500K in $10K increments. Spouse: $5K – $250K. Children: $2K, $5K, or $10K flat.
Voluntary
Protects your income if illness or non-work injury keeps you from working. STD for short-term recovery, LTD for extended periods.
STD: 60% of weekly earnings up to $2,500/wk · 7-day waiting period · 26-week max.
LTD: 60% of monthly earnings up to $10K/mo · begins after 180 days · pays to age 65.

Step 06 / Voluntary
Add-on plans that pay on top of your medical insurance — no coordination required.
Why voluntary benefits? Sometimes medical insurance isn't enough to cover unforeseen out-of-pocket expenses. These plans pay on top of your medical plan — no coordination required.
Accidents happen anytime. This policy pays you a benefit for each covered injury and treatment — helping cover out-of-pocket costs.
Fractures, dislocations, burns, lacerations, ER visits, x-rays, follow-ups, ambulance and more — pays a flat cash benefit per event.
Lump-sum cash if you're diagnosed with a covered condition like cancer, heart attack, or stroke. So you can focus on getting better.
Cancer, heart attack, stroke, major organ transplant, kidney failure, paralysis, coma, severe burns, and 12+ additional conditions.

Step 07 / FSA
Two pre-tax accounts that lower your taxable income while paying for everyday care.
Pay for medical, dental, and vision expenses with pre-tax dollars — deductibles, copays, Rx, glasses, contacts, Lasik, orthodontia, and more.
